Hack The Stats ("we", "us") operates hackthestats.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Name, email, phone number, company and anything else you type into our booking form or send by email.
• Usage data. Pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type. Collected through PostHog analytics.
• Booking data. When you book a call, the appointment details are processed by our scheduling and CRM provider.

Why we collect it

• To respond to enquiries and hold the call you booked
• To operate and improve the site
• To send information you asked for, and to follow up on a live enquiry
• To meet legal and accounting obligations

Legal basis

We rely on your consent where you submit a form, on legitimate interest for analytics and follow-up on a live enquiry, and on legal obligation for records we are required to keep.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors that run parts of our operation: our analytics provider, our scheduling and CRM provider, our email provider and our hosting provider. Each is bound to process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and booking records are kept for up to 24 months from last contact unless a longer period is legally required. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to contact@hackthestats.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for analytics and to remember your language preference. You can block cookies in your browser; core pages will still work.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the EEA. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
